POSTER
The poster directly below is my final poster. I have gone through many tests and idea to get to the final poster. In total i had three ideas, tried only two and this was my favourite.
The idea i did not try in the end was a photograph with a candle ontop of a book with very extreme lighting effect through photoshop. The reason i did not try it in the end was because it did not fit my genre of horror enough and i was not too fond of the idea either.
This was the other idea which i did not use in the end - although it is pretty similar to my final poster.
* - Change the font of "COMING 2014".
Post more information about the film.
Include production or distribution information.
Make the "COMING 2014" font larger.
Centre the word "FALL".
Include an actors name.
** - Make the "COMING 2014" text less visible and move to the bottom left.
Actors names should be clearer and brighter.
The word "FALL?" to be moved to the left a little bit more as it's not evenly spaced in the triangle.
Production Logo
For my poster i really wanted to create a production logo as i really enjoy using photoshop as photography student.
Last year i created a HD logo to play before the opening title sequence which was never included in a poster because it would take away the whole feel for the poster. So i realised that the logo i do for the poster has to really simple and effective at the same time.
This above image is my final logo idea. I believe it is very simple and effective (The white areas are transparent as a photoshop file).
I had two different ideas and my first one failed dramaticly as it was hard to make out and took alot away from the poster.
This is the failed logo. As a large production logo it would work well as you could make out the text but if you look at the smaller version below you can see how difficult it is to make out the "BLANK BOX" name compared to the logo i used.

I have done a focus group on my class, created a survey using survey monkey and used #HWYF14 on twitter.
Due to anything that wanted to be changed or detail that was under disscusion i have changed a few parts here and there and this is the final poster.
